The Haut-Village farm

The Haut-Village farm

The Christ family farm is initially a dairy cow farm. It is the father of Florian who created it in 1987. The farm is enlarged, until to reach 180 dairy cows today. With this development, it was necessary to invest in robotics. Thus, three milking robots are in operation on the farm. The dynamic and pioneering young farmer practises soil conservation agriculture and plays the map of land sharing with his colleagues in neighbouring villages. In 2018, the cows of the farm were grazed, 30 hectares of meadow are intended to accommodate them. What also makes the reputation of this farm back Kochersberg, is its methanization plant... Recently the farm has been selling beef from grass-raised animals on their farm, in the form of packages and retail sales.
