Early 14th century frescoes St Michael's Church
The church is partly equipped with baroque furniture, especially the pulpit. A finely carved reliquary in the choir indicates 1434.
Pastor Theo Trautmann left us a detailed description of the 14th century (International Gothic) choir murals of rare richness which were brought to light in the summer of 1981. In the background we can see scenes from the life of Christ and on the sides the representation of the 12 apostles and on the other side two scenes of the resurrection of the dead. On the ceiling are the four evangelists surrounding a mandorla showing Christ in glory and majesty.
