It is most likely in the area of Kochersberg and most precisely nearby Pfulgriesheim, where the now well-known Flammekueche is originated… Nowadays with an international reputation, its arrival on the restaurants’ tables dated back from the 1960ies. Indeed, the Kochersberg is a land of flavour and regional products. Fertile land for all kind of cereals and vegetables crops, it is also a land of delicacies and skills: taste seasonal fruits and vegetables, Alsatian dishes offered by our chefs in respect of the grandmothers’ recipes, its foies gras and copious dessert created by creative pastry chefs.
