Eglise Saint Georges

Eglise Saint Georges

The church of St. George was built in 1802 with a bell on the nave. Between the choir and the nave on the left side is engraved the cross of the Johannites of the Commandery of St. John of Dorlisheim - a cross engraved in a 19 cm roundel. The furniture dates from 1803, by the carpenter Nuss of Strasbourg, and is particularly remarkable.
On the outside, under the roof around the nave, there is a Romanesque-Baroque frieze from 1220, bearing the mark of the members of the Commanderie Saint Jean de Dorlisheim.
